Vael Sarela y su orchestra is a Latin fusion band fusing merengue, bachata and salsa with jazz, hip hop. as a backing for liberation poetry. We hope to radiate Joy and movement through our medium!

Jairito y La Onda (JyLO) is the solo project of guitarist Jairo Barsallo (Wild Yaks, fmr Ritmo Cascabel) joined by “the vibe” - Carlos Cabrera (Licks, Charlie Chimi), Aaron Peart (fmr Mary Vision), and Giovanni Fernandez-Kincade (Charlie Chimi, Wild Yaks). Imagine if Los Mirlos were hired to write a cumbia soundtrack for “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly”, but the tape got spliced with your dad’s Pantera cover band. JyLo is sort of like that. It feels weird, but it makes you want to dance.
