LP release show for Sweet Harm! Sweet Harm are a four piece punk band from the Hudson Valley that treads the intersection of beauty and grit, anchored by love and fuzz. Their new LP “Certain Sun”is a fever of moods: songs unfolding with a grounded force, equal parts scrappy and shimmering. Jagged guitars converge with bitter-sweet vocal interplay from Dominic Armao and Kate Larson, anchored by the propulsive rhythm section of Mike Campbell and Liv Battell. Their songs grasp at connection from all angles, weaving a sturdy urgency that feels both bruised and vivid. The members have been playing music in circles around each other for most of their adult lives, catching back up in 2023 and building a new focus together, finally feeling at home.
