ONEIDA

Oneida is one of the best NYC bands of the modern era. They will absolutely demolish the back room of Tubby’s. Come witness greatness.

Oneida is an American experimental rock band from Brooklyn, New York, United States. Their influences include psychedelic rock, krautrock, electronic, noise rock, and minimalism, but the overall structure and intent of their music is not taken directly from any of these styles. Common elements found in their music include improvisation, repetition, driving rhythms, antique and analog equipment, and an overall eclecticism. -wiki

RUSS WATERHOUSE (BLUES CONTROL)

Russ Waterhouse of Blues Control is making music for the first time in several years. Cut in the cloth of classic avant-garde albums, 1 Minute 2 Midnight features field recordings, a Sears Rhythm-Matic drum box, Roland RT-505 drum machine, Korg synth, percussion and guitar. Russ' primary instrument, however, is the mixing board; with it, he deploys his collected sounds to chart a blistering, colorful and ultimately cathartic course through estrangement, isolation and disillusionment.
