Tubby’s Gear Swap – Rules & Guidelines
1. What’s Allowed
Accepted items: Musical instruments, amps, pedals, cables, synths, DJ gear, recording equipment, accessories, etc.
No junk: All gear must be in working condition unless clearly labeled AS-IS or FOR PARTS.
No sales of unrelated items (clothes, furniture, etc.) unless pre-approved by the host.
2. Trades / Sales / Pricing
Sellers and traders set their own prices or trade terms.
Haggling is fine—be respectful and chill.
Tubby’s takes no responsibility for pricing, quality, or deals—all transactions are between individuals.
3. Space & Setup
Table space or designated floor area— is first come, first served.
Bring your own power strips or extension cords if you need to demo anything plugged in.
4. Testing & Demos
Keep volumes low—no shredding or 808 face-melting.
Small amps or headphones are ideal for demoing gear.
Be patient if someone’s testing something—take turns and don’t hover.
5. Conduct & Responsibility
Be honest about the condition of your gear.
Keep an eye on your stuff—you’re responsible for what you bring.
No aggressive sales tactics or shady behavior—we’re here to hang, not hustle.
6. Wrap-Up & Clean-Up
Clean your area when you leave—take all unsold gear and trash with you.
If you make a mess, help fix it.
Any gear left behind may be considered a donation.
